EP24 sardine curry with rich tomato

Serves 3-4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can AYAM™ Sardines in Tomato Sauce 155g
  • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 1 jar AYAM™ Nyonya Curry Paste
  • 270ml AYAM™ Coconut Milk
  • 380cc water
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp lemon juice

 

METHOD

  1. Heat salad oil and add onion and fry it until tender. Add Nyonya Curry Paste and fry it over low heat until aromatic.
  2. Add AYAM™ Coconut Milk and water and let it boil, add sardines(not to deform) and tomato sauce of AYAM™ Sardines in Tomato Sauce, tomato and stew them for 15 minutes.
  3. Season with sugar, salt, lemon juice.
